On our December, “Ice Road Truckers” rendition hauling a 30’ cattle hauler from Laguna Beach to Kalispell, we got very lucky and met for lunch with Susan in Utah.

With it dumping lots of “Cold Smoke” outside, Jean and I find ourselves inside cooking up fabulous foods, including Alegría’s “Michael Pollen” super slow roasted marinara.

Our Montana-esque “one ton cutting board table” is quickly becoming the place for us to congregate and enjoy great food, share farm/ ranch ideas and above all, provide each other with warm companionship.
